Community Hospital Earns National Recognition for Outstanding Patient Experience
<p data-start="488" data-end="780">GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — In a major accolade for Mesa County’s healthcare landscape, Community Hospital has been awarded the 2025 Outstanding Patient Experience Award by Healthgrades, placing it among the top 15% of hospitals nationwide for excellence in patient-centered care.</p>
<p data-start="782" data-end="931">The announcement was made on Tuesday, May 13, positioning Community Hospital as the only hospital in Mesa County to earn the award this year.</p>
<p data-start="933" data-end="1273">“This recognition is a testament to our team’s relentless focus on compassionate, high-quality care,” said Chris Thomas, President and CEO of Community Hospital. “Being nationally recognized sets us apart as a quality leader in our region and further demonstrates that Community Hospital is an exceptional place to receive health care.”</p>
<h2 data-start="1275" data-end="1315">A Rare Achievement in the High Desert</h2>
<p data-start="1317" data-end="1650">Healthgrades evaluates thousands of hospitals across the U.S. using a detailed methodology based on Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey data from the Centers for Medicare &; Medicaid Services (CMS). Only hospitals that meet rigorous criteria across ten specific categories are awarded.</p>
<p data-start="1652" data-end="1748">Community Hospital not only met but exceeded those thresholds, Healthgrades officials confirmed.</p>
