One Dead in Christmas Day Shooting Near Downtown Fort Wayne
<p>The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Christmas Day, leaving one man dead near downtown Fort Wayne.</p>
<h2>Incident Details</h2>
<p>Reports of gunfire were first received around 6 p.m. near the intersection of W Fourth Street and Wells Street. Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Wells Street, where they discovered a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.</p>
<p>Emergency responders, including Fort Wayne Firefighters and TRAA Medics, provided aid at the scene. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.</p>
