Man Arrested After Incident at KKCO/KJCT News Station
<p>A 39-year-old man has been taken into custody following a disturbing altercation involving a KKCO/KJCT news station employee. The incident unfolded in Grand Junction and led to swift action by local authorities.</p>

<p>The Grand Junction Police Department reported that Patrick Egan confronted the driver of a vehicle in the vicinity of Highway 6 &; 50 and 25 Road. The confrontation escalated when Egan followed the driver to the 2500 block of Blichmann Avenue.</p>
<p>Witness accounts state that Egan tackled and choked the victim before bystanders intervened. Their quick response restrained Egan until officers arrived at the scene.</p>
<p>The victim, who works for the KKCO/KJCT news station, did not sustain serious injuries, according to initial reports.</p>

<p>Egan was operating a vehicle for Sunshine Rides, a local taxi service, at the time of the incident. Following the altercation, the company took immediate action.</p>
<p>Kelly Millan, owner of Sunshine Rides, issued a public statement condemning the behavior. “This type of behavior has no place in our society and I strongly condemn it,” Millan said. “I deeply regret the harm and disruption this has caused the victim, his family, and co-workers.”</p>
<p>Egan has been terminated from his position, and Sunshine Rides is cooperating fully with law enforcement investigations. The company also plans to reinforce its values and expectations with all employees.</p>

<p>Egan now faces multiple charges, including bias-motivated crimes, second-degree assault, and harassment.</p>
