And those are some reasons we actually see animals coming into the shelter as well,&#8221; she said. This makes adopting pets a tough decision for many families, especially during a time when budgets are stretched with holiday expenses.</p>

<p>&#8220;We understand that not every family is in a position to adopt right away,&#8221; Kretschman added. &#8220;Adoption vouchers allow people to still give the gift of a pet while ensuring the new owners are prepared for the responsibility.&#8221;</p>
