✒️ Showcasing the Art of Tattoo

From intricate Japanese Irezumi to bold neo-traditional pieces and minimalist blackwork, artists will compete in 20 unique categories, putting their skillsets on display in real time. For many attendees, it’s not just a show—it’s an opportunity to go home with an award-winning piece of body art.

“This festival gives people a chance to connect with artists they’ve only seen online—and walk away with something permanent, personal, and powerful,” said Jamie Herrera, one of the event organizers.

💀 Ink Regrets? There’s a Contest for That

In one of the weekend’s most light-hearted highlights, Removery, the world’s largest tattoo removal brand, will sponsor the “Worst Tattoo Contest.” Brave souls will showcase their most regrettable ink for a shot at a prize—and maybe even a free removal session.

“It’s all in good fun,” said Removery spokesperson Mika Allen. “We’re here to remind people that even bad tattoos can lead to good stories—or clean slates.”

🎟️ Tickets & Entry

  • Daily Pass: $27.50

  • Weekend Pass: $60
Tickets can be purchased online at fortwaynetattoo.com or at the door throughout the weekend.

While the festival is open to all ages and includes family-friendly vendors and entertainment, tattoos are strictly 18+ with valid ID.

🖤 A Celebration of Expression

Beyond tattoos, the event offers something for nearly everyone—whether you’re browsing, booking, or just there for the vibe. With its mix of creativity, competition, and community, the Fort Wayne Tattoo Festival continues to grow as one of Indiana’s most anticipated art events.

“We want people to see tattooing for what it really is,” Herrera said. “It’s not just body art—it’s storytelling, culture, history, and passion, all rolled into one.”
