Excitement is brewing in Grand Junction as Dutch Bros prepares to open its doors in just seven days. This will mark the second Dutch Bros location in Western Colorado, following the successful launch in Montrose. Regional Operator Maria Haasee expresses her enthusiasm, sharing that the community’s anticipation adds to the joy of the new opening.
A Special Opening with a Purpose
The timing of the Grand Junction opening is particularly meaningful for Haasee and her team as it coincides with Dutch Love Day. “A dollar for every drink sold is going to the Western Slope branch of the food bank for the Rockies, and it’s going to be on Valentine’s Day to spread the Dutch love,” Haasee explains. This charitable event highlights one of her favorite aspects of working with Dutch Bros—the opportunity to give back to the community.
Final Preparations Underway
Over the coming week, staff at the new location on 29 Road will be finalizing their training and receiving last-minute stock deliveries. These preparations are essential to ensure a smooth opening day experience for customers.
Haasee, who has been with Dutch Bros for over eight years, reflects on the support she has received throughout her career. “I’ve had a lot of leaders and wonderful people in my life just help me be the person that I am today, and I’m grateful for them,” she says. She also expresses gratitude for the warm reception from the Grand Junction and Montrose communities, emphasizing that serving these areas is the team’s primary focus.
