Rotary Club of Fort Wayne Hosts 5K Walk/Run to Eradicate Polio

The Rotary Club of Fort Wayne is organizing its 14th Annual 5K Walk/Run this Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Shoaff Park. This event aims to support Rotary International’s mission to eradicate polio worldwide. Participants of all ages are encouraged to join, with a Kids’ Fun Run starting at 8:00 am, followed by the main 5K event at 8:30 am. The proceeds will go towards the Polio Plus fund, which focuses on distributing oral vaccines in Pakistan and Afghanistan, the last two countries where polio remains endemic.
