Community Efforts on the Western Slope
Sue Ellen Rodwick, the Western Slope Director for Food Bank of the Rockies, expressed gratitude for the widespread support.
“We were very excited to hear about this honoring,” Rodwick said. “It meant that Coloradans showed up as a community to support food, and even here on the Western Slope, we were excited about it as well.”
Rodwick noted that the funds raised will directly impact efforts to provide nutritious meals to families in need, especially during the holiday season when demand at food banks often spikes.
Volunteers Driving Change
Behind the scenes, volunteers played a crucial role in making the event a success. Packing, organizing, and distributing food to neighbors in need, their dedication reflects the collective spirit that made this achievement possible.
