Two teenagers lost their lives in a tragic crash on Sunday morning in Wabash County, Indiana. The incident occurred on County Road 300 West near the 5000 block, and the investigation is still ongoing.
Details of the Fatal Crash
At approximately 8:30 a.m., an off-duty Indiana State Police (ISP) trooper from the ISP Peru Post discovered a single-vehicle crash that would claim the lives of two young people. According to the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Team, the driver, a 16-year-old male, was traveling northbound when the vehicle unexpectedly veered off the road. The car—a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser—overcorrected, lost control, and collided with a tree on the driver’s side.
Victims Identified
The victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Wabash County Coroner’s Office. The driver was identified as 16-year-old Sean Murray Jr. of Wabash, while the passenger was 19-year-old Kameron Garriott of Andrews. Notifications to the families have been made, and ISP has offered its condolences during this difficult time.
