It was around 3 a.m. Saturday when gunfire broke the quiet in the 2500 block of Weisser Park Avenue, on the city’s southeast side. Neighbors woke up to flashing lights and crime scene tape.
One person was found with life-threatening injuries — officers believe the victim was hit during a heated dispute that spiraled out of control.

Who Police Are Looking For
Investigators say 39-year-old Jamarcus Williams is wanted in connection with the shooting. He’s facing preliminary charges of attempted murder and aggravated battery.
