Why the Fundraiser Matters

For Troop 353, this event is about more than just selling trees; it’s about funding future adventures and educational opportunities. Scoutmaster Remi Galvan emphasized the importance of the fundraiser, explaining how it impacts the troop’s year-long activities.

“Every campout, adventure, and Merit Badge Rally has a cost associated with it,” Galvan said. “This fundraiser helps defray costs – and in some cases, zero them out – so our Troop can have amazing opportunities to further their learning and skills.”

The Scouts themselves will take charge of all aspects of the sale, from setting up the lot to assisting customers by loading trees into their cars and ensuring the space is clean after all the trees are sold.

Discounts for Military and First Responders

To honor military personnel and first responders, the Troop is offering a 10% discount on all items for those who present valid proof of service. This marks a new addition to this year’s sale, recognizing the service of local heroes.

Community Impact

The indoor tree lot has become a cherished local tradition, offering residents a chance to support the Scouts while getting into the holiday spirit. Shoppers can expect a warm, family-friendly atmosphere filled with the scent of fresh pine and festive treats.

Sales will continue until all items are sold, ensuring that every purchase goes toward helping Troop 353 embark on their next year of growth, learning, and adventure.
