Dodge! Throw! Run! Dodgeball Tournament to Support Individuals with Disabilities

Adaptive Heroes, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities, is bringing back its annual dodgeball tournament for a second year. The high-energy event will take place on April 12 at the Colorado Mesa University Foster Field House.

Raising Funds for Essential Support

The tournament is more than just a game—it’s a fundraiser aimed at providing crucial resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Speech Tablets: Funds will help supply speech devices that assist with communication.
  • Therapy Toolboxes: Essential tools designed to aid in daily development and skill-building.

According to Adaptive Heroes, approximately 6.8% of people have some form of intellectual or developmental disability, making initiatives like this vital for the community.
