Involvement of McPherson & Jacobson and Colorado Association of School Boards

To ensure a comprehensive and thorough search, Garfield Re-2 is partnering with McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., and the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB). These organizations will assist in the recruitment process and help guide the district toward selecting a candidate who aligns with its values and objectives.

Encouraging Community Feedback

As part of the search process, the district is actively encouraging community members, parents, educators, and other stakeholders to provide input. The goal is to gather valuable insights on the qualities, priorities, and experiences desired in the district’s next leader. This community-driven approach ensures that the voice of those who are directly impacted by the superintendent’s leadership is heard and considered.

The district is particularly interested in feedback on the skills and attributes that are crucial for success, such as a commitment to academic excellence, community involvement, and the ability to lead and inspire students, staff, and families.

Community members can submit their input through surveys and forums, with the feedback playing a key role in shaping the search process.
