Work to Close Portion of Lake Avenue This Week
Drivers in Fort Wayne should prepare for a temporary road closure as a section of Lake Avenue will be shut down for construction starting Tuesday. The affected area runs between North Anthony Boulevard and Kensington Avenue and is expected to remain closed through Friday.
Detour Routes in Place
City officials have provided detour routes to help drivers navigate around the closure:
- Westbound traffic should take Randallia Drive north, head west on East State Boulevard, and then go south on North Anthony Boulevard.
- Eastbound traffic should drive north on North Anthony Boulevard, go east on East State Boulevard, and head south on Randallia Drive.
