Urgent Search for Missing Fort Wayne Teen Leauna Clark

Fort Wayne police are desperately asking for your help tonight to find 13-year-old Leauna Clark, who vanished Tuesday and has not been seen since. The entire city is holding its breath as every hour matters in bringing this young girl home safe.

Leauna is Hispanic, stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black coat, khaki-style shorts, and black Nike shoes. Detectives say she could still be in the Fort Wayne area, but no one has heard from her in days.

Anyone who sees Leauna or knows where she might be should call Fort Wayne Police right away at 260-427-1222. Tips can be anonymous.

What We Know So Far

The alert went out Tuesday evening, March 25, 2026, through the Fort Wayne Police Department and 21Alive News. As of Wednesday morning, there are still no confirmed sightings and no public information about where Leauna was last seen or the circumstances of her disappearance.

Police have not said if they believe she ran away, was taken, or left voluntarily. What they have made clear is that Leauna is considered a critical missing juvenile and they need the public’s eyes and ears immediately.

A viral, hyper-realistic YouTube thumbnail with a tense, dramatic crime-alert atmosphere. The background is a dark, rainy Fort Wayne street at night with flashing blue and red police lights cutting through fog and rain. The composition uses a low-angle shot to focus on the main subject: a large, weathered missing person poster taped to a street pole, photo area deliberately darkened to remain faceless. Image size should be 3:2.
The image features massive 3D typography with strict hierarchy:
The Primary Text reads exactly: 'LEAUNA CLARK'. This text is massive, the largest element in the frame, rendered in glowing red chrome with dramatic lens flare to look like a high-budget 3D render.
The Secondary Text reads exactly: 'MISSING'. This text is significantly smaller, positioned below the main text. It features a thick white border with red outline (sticker style) to contrast against the dark background. Make sure text 2 is always different theme, style, effect and border compared to text 1.

Why These First 48 Hours Matter Most

Experts say the first 48 hours are the most crucial window in any missing child case. According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, roughly 99% of children reported missing in the United States come home, but speed is everything.

In Indiana alone, the Clearinghouse for Information on Missing Children and Missing Endangered Adults received 12,897 missing child reports in 2024. Most were found within hours or days, often because someone recognized them from a poster or social media share.

One share can literally save a life.

How You Can Help Right Now

  • Look at Leauna’s description again and think: have you seen this girl in the last 24 hours?
  • Check your own security cameras from Tuesday afternoon or evening.
  • Ask your kids if they recognize her from school or the neighborhood.
  • Share this article on Facebook, post it on Nextdoor, send it in your family group chats.

If you saw something Tuesday that seemed small at the time (a girl walking alone, getting into a car, anything unusual), call police anyway. No detail is too small.

A Community on Edge

Parents across Fort Wayne are hugging their own 13-year-olds a little tighter tonight. This hits close to home because Leauna could be anyone’s daughter, anyone’s little sister, anyone’s classmate.

We have seen our city come together before when kids go missing, and we have seen them come home because neighbors refused to stay silent.

Leauna Clark is still out there somewhere, and someone knows something.

Please keep sharing her face and her name until she walks back through her front door.

If you have any information at all, call 260-427-1222 or contact Fort Wayne Police directly. Let’s bring Leauna home.
