The Clifton Christian Church Food Bank is spreading holiday cheer with a generous food box distribution for Thanksgiving, ensuring that many families in the Grand Junction area can enjoy a warm meal this season.
A Community Effort to Bring Holiday Meals to Families
On Monday, November 25th, the Clifton Christian Church Food Bank (CCCFB) will distribute 825 food boxes to local families, each filled with all the essentials for a Thanksgiving feast. The event, taking place at 3241 F 1/4 Road, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until supplies run out.
Each holiday food box includes a frozen turkey, seasonal pies, and a variety of holiday sides, making it a complete meal for those in need. The boxes are designed to ensure that families can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal without worrying about the cost of food.
How Local Partners Are Making This Possible
This charitable initiative wouldn’t be possible without the support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals. The CCCFB has worked in partnership with Alpine Bank, The Christi Reece Group, Crossroads Methodist Church, Sunrise Rotary, Grand Junction Rotary, and Clifton Christian Church. Together, they have come together to provide for the community during this time of celebration and togetherness.
The Importance of Giving Back
The holiday season is a time when many families are already stretched thin. By offering these meal boxes, CCCFB not only provides a hearty meal but also helps reduce the stress that can come with preparing a holiday feast. The collaboration between local businesses and organizations serves as a reminder of the strength and compassion found in the community.
- The food boxes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Pickup will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until supplies last.
