Two masked robbers hit Broadway Domino’s, police seek public’s help

The Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Broadway Domino’s Pizza on Tuesday night. Two masked males entered the store around 10:15 p.m. and demanded money from the employees. One of them was armed with a handgun and fired a shot into the ceiling. No one was injured in the incident.

Robbers fled with cash and pizza

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and also grabbed some pizza boxes before fleeing the scene. They were last seen running southbound on Broadway. The GJPD is asking anyone who may have seen the suspects or their vehicle to contact them immediately.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1: White male, approximately 5’10″ tall, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black shoes, black gloves, and a black ski mask. He was armed with a silver handgun.
  • Suspect 2: Hispanic male, approximately 5’8″ tall, wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, black shoes, black gloves, and a black bandana covering his face.

Police release surveillance photos and video

The GJPD has released several surveillance photos and a video of the robbery on their Facebook page. They are hoping that someone will recognize the suspects or their clothing and provide them with a tip. Domino’s offers reward for information

The Broadway Domino’s Pizza is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers. The store manager, who did not want to be identified, said that he and his staff are shaken by the incident, but grateful that no one was hurt.

He said that the store has been robbed before, but never with such violence. He said that the robbers did not care about the safety of the employees or the customers, and that they need to be caught and brought to justice.

He also thanked the GJPD for their quick response and their efforts to solve the case. He said that he hopes that someone will come forward with a tip that will help the police catch the robbers.
