FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – First Watch, the popular daytime dining chain specializing in breakfast, brunch, and lunch, will soon make its Fort Wayne debut. Known for its seasonal ingredients and innovative brunch items, First Watch has confirmed plans to open its new location at Jefferson Pointe shopping center in early 2025.
Expanding the Brunch Scene in Fort Wayne
The new First Watch location will take over the 3,900-square-foot space at 4541 Illinois Road, previously occupied by the Tilted Kilt. The restaurant will feature both indoor and outdoor seating, with an indoor/outdoor bar, and a total capacity of 172 seats. The opening of this Fort Wayne location marks the chain’s eighth establishment in Indiana.

A Fresh Take on Brunch
First Watch’s menu focuses on made-to-order dishes that don’t rely on heat lamps, microwaves, or deep fryers. Their offerings include classic brunch favorites like avocado toast and lemon ricotta pancakes, alongside signature dishes like their indulgent “Million Dollar Bacon.” Health-conscious patrons will find superfood bowls, wraps, and freshly squeezed juices, while those looking for a treat can enjoy iced coffee and brunch cocktails.
The menu at First Watch changes five times per year to reflect seasonal ingredients. “This approach allows us to keep our offerings fresh and aligns with our commitment to quality,” said Mackenzie Garrett, a First Watch spokesperson.
Local Job Opportunities
The Fort Wayne location is expected to create around 30 new jobs, with hiring beginning approximately one month before the opening. Interested applicants are encouraged to keep an eye on the First Watch website, though no Fort Wayne-specific positions have been posted yet.
