Fort Wayne, Indiana – Authorities are investigating a death after a person was found inside an apartment in the 600 block of Tennessee Avenue, located north of downtown Fort Wayne, on Saturday night, November 16, 2024.
Details of the Incident
The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) responded to a call around 11:30 p.m. in reference to an unknown problem at the residence. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics discovered a deceased individual inside an apartment in the building.
Ongoing Investigation
At this time, limited information has been released by authorities. The FWPD homicide detectives are actively working to gather all available details surrounding the case. FWPD assures the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety related to the incident.
The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office are also involved in the investigation.
