Leo-Cedarville Town Council member Andy Jones has died at the age of 62. Jones, who had been serving on the town council since January 2024, passed away on Sunday, leaving behind a legacy of community involvement and business leadership.
A Dedicated Public Servant
Jones’ tenure on the town council may have been brief, but his commitment to Leo-Cedarville spanned decades. Since moving to the town in 1993, he played an active role in shaping the community. His election to the council reflected the trust and respect he earned among residents.
Before stepping into local government, Jones and his wife, Amanda, owned and operated the Leo Cafe from 2013 to 2022. The cafe became a beloved fixture in the community, known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong ties to local events and initiatives. Those who knew Jones describe him as a passionate advocate for small businesses and community development.

Jones’ passing leaves a void not only in local government but also in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Amanda, his daughter, Taylor, his mother, and two brothers.

Funeral Arrangements
Visitation for Jones will be held on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons – Pine Valley Chapel, located at 1320 E. Dupont Rd. in Fort Wayne.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State St. in Grabill. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to attend and pay their respects.
